Jennifer Lopez has decided to cancel her upcoming “This is Me… Live” tour, which was originally set to begin on June 26 in Orlando. Representatives from Live Nation announced that Lopez will be taking time off to spend with her children, family, and close friends. Refunds will be automatically issued to fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, while those who used third-party resale sites will need to reach out to their point of purchase for further details.
In her “OnTheJLo” newsletter, Lopez conveyed her deep disappointment about letting her fans down, assuring them that she would make it up to them in the future. The cancellation follows growing speculation about her personal life, particularly her marriage to actor Ben Affleck. Recently, Lopez firmly declined to discuss her relationship during a Q&A session, stating that such personal matters would not be addressed publicly.
The tour was initially announced as “This is Me… Now: The Tour” but was later rebranded to “This Is Me… Live: The Greatest Hits.” While some speculated that the name change was due to low ticket sales, Entertainment Weekly clarified that the tour was always meant to celebrate Lopez’s career, with no alterations to the setlist or show content. Despite the reasons, fans will now have to wait for another chance to see the superstar perform live.
Lopez and Affleck, who rekindled their romance and married in June 2022, were recently spotted together at Affleck’s daughter Violet’s graduation ceremony, indicating that their relationship remains strong. Though the tour’s cancellation is disappointing for fans, Lopez’s dedication to her family and personal well-being is admirable. We look forward to her next musical project! 🎤🎶
